Recently expanded to include Nonna's Studio, this restaurant was voted as the third best restaurant overall in Oakville this year. Owner Julia Hanna credits her determi­ nation to deliver a consistent product with bar success, although it may also have some­ thing to do with the appetizers. Oakville rec­ ognized her delectable foods and voted Paradiso as having the "best appetizers", as well as the "best Mediterranean food" in town. The friendly atmosphere and eclectic menu brings clientele of all kinds into the restaurant, and the casual, warm and inviting ambiance brings them back again. Although again, the food tends to draw the public back as well. Another award Paradiso can acknowledge this year is "best chef - Michael Killip" . Preparing the savoury foods known to Paradiso, Michael has been well-received by the public, who evidently enjoy his entrees.
