Park newCEO of UnitedW ay Brad Park, the former head of United Way Oakville, will now serve as president and CEO of United Way ffalton & ffamilton (UWHH). The charity' s board of directors made the appointment Monday (Nov f3). The change in leadership comes after current UWHH CEO Jeff Vallentin' s signaled his decision to leave the organization in October. "The board is proud to be making this announcement and we're grateful for the depth of leadership that has allowed us to promote from within," said Anne Bermingham, UWHH chair. "Brad is well-known across the communities served by UWHH. He is a proven executive leader in the United Way movement and he is highly regarded for his passion and his track-record of results." Park has been chief development officer in the newly amalgamated UWHH. In 2 0 f2 Park became CEO for the United Way Oakville and brings more than 23 years Way Burlington and Greater Hamilton. UWHH staff said he provided the leadership that guided four United Way organizations in the region to come together as one.
