Milton Heights Racing Club Michelle Bomberry an indigenous ed ucator who is the director of post sec ondary school education for Indspire, will be speaking on inspiring Canada's indigenous future on Thursday, Nov. 16. Bomberry will be speaking at the Oakville Central Library 120 Navy St. Doors open at 7:15 p.m. and the event starts at 7:30 p.m. Indspire is an indigenous-led regis tered charity that invests in the educa tion of Indigenous people. In 2016-17 Indspire awarded $11.6 million through 3,764 scholarships and bursaries to in digenous students across Canada. Indspire' s K-12 Institute is a virtual resource centre that serves educators, communities and rural areas that are committed to improving success for indigenous youth from kindergarten to Grade 12.
