The locally based The Weather Network (TWN) released its Halloween forecast Thursday, Oct. 2 6 with meteorologist Mi chael Carter noting the warm weather resi dents have been enjoying throughout much of October is about to come to an end. "We've come out of a month of October that has been just remarkably mild through out much of the Great Lakes Region. Most areas have been averaging three to even five degrees above seasonal," said Carter, with TWN, operated by Pelmorex Media. "We are in the middle of a pattern change though. That means things are going to be shaking up a bit and we are going to be moving, through this weekend and into early next week, into a more typical Fall-like pat tern." While these temperatures are technically normal for the season, Carter said, it m ay be a more abrupt change for residents spoiled by the weather.
