Holstein Fair was held on Tues- I day and Wednesday of this week, and much interest is taken in it, as usual. The weather on both days was excellent, and the attendance good. Owing to the wet season: the exhibits in grain were below‘ the average, both in quality and quality. Root exhibits were good, and quite numerous. The fruit show was comparatiVely small, but there were some good sam- ples. The dairy products were well represented, and the butter 'was excellent.
