The tension which has been in exist- ence since Saturday last as to the re- sult has been nerve racking. and there were not many who would take a chance on the decision. Yesterday’s announcement was nor. unanticipated. and is a complete vindication of the view taken by Town Clerk Gordon that the vote was in the nature of a plebescite in which only one vote should he allowed each voter, and nOt as the Opponents have contended that a vote should be allowed at every polling sub division in which the we er owned property.â€"-O. 8.
