Mc’l‘zwish and mother, Mrs. Geo. Stewart. and Mr. John Bellamy left on Wednesday last week to visit relatives at Parry Sound. naturday and Sunday with Mrs. J. P. Ottowell. Miss Jickling was re- turning to her school duties at Lady Bank. Rev. John Stafiord, M. A.. of Chi- cago, preached in the Baptist church here, on Sabbath morning last and is visiting for a few days with his brother-in~law. J. P. Ottowell, V. 8. Miss Alice Ottowell, of Osprey, is also paying her brother a short visit. Miss Ottowell’s numerous friends are pleased to see her much improved in health. Mr. Geo. Richardson is holidayng this week in and about Owen Sound. Mrs. Staples and Mrs. Hill, of Orangeville, were callers on Mrs. Gjerdrum, \Vednesday of last week. Mr. Joseph Armstrong, of Toronto, is holidaying for a week with rela- tives here. Mr. S. Damude. of Toronto, was in town a day last week. Mrs. (Rev.) 8. C. Edmunds, who visited the past four weeks with her sister, Mrs. \V. Trimble, returned Home to Welburn on Saturday. Miss Ida. Johnston, of Toronto, is visiting her friend, Miss Ella Wick- ens. Mrs. John Harrison, Toronto Line, has returned home trom visit- ing her son in New York State where she was having an enjoyable time until she with her son and family met with a. runavay accident in which several members were severely injured. Mr.s Harrison was much shaken up and bruised, but. )5 recoverâ€" ing. Dr. E. K. Richardson, of Toronto. Spent from Tuesday of last. week till Monday last. professionally with his sister, Miss Edith Richardson. who was for some days dangerously ill. Mrs. (\Dr.) Rosborough, of Dundalk, has had erected in the Public Cem- etery, here. a tine granite monument to the memory of her late beloved husband whose remains were brought here from Michigan for interment in December last. Mrs. Rosborough and sister, Mrs. A. Neilson, of Proton Station, visited the cemetery and called on friends in town on Wednes- day last week. The family have the sympathy of the community.
