Park Bronte Creek Provincial Park has several Halloween activities this week end including a haunted house and spooky bam. This weekend the park will hold Halloween Capers from 11 am . to 3 p.m. Participants are invited to tour a haunted house or visit their favourite farm animals in the spooky bam. They can also join the great pumpkin challenge or the spider hunt around the farm. Pumpkins from the pumpkin patch and bunches of com stalks will be available for sale with all proceeds to the United Way. The children's play bam and Natural Cafe will also be open. Special activi ties include: Free horse drawn wagon rides on Sundays only from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Family Games, Saturday 11 am . to 3 p.m.: Sack races, cos tume parade, pumpkin seed spit ting and more. A different event each hour. Winners announced after each event. Pumpkin Carving Contest, Sunday, 11 am . to 2:30 p.m.: Buy a pumpkin and carve it to win a prize in the annual pumpkin carving contest. Entries will be judged for the scariest, funniest and most unique pumpkin in agegroup categories (7-10, 11-15, 15 and up, and fami ly). Bring your own carving tools. Some carving sets avail able for purchase. Park admission is $3 per adult, $1.75 per child between the ages of 4-17, children 3 and under are free and seniors are $2.25.
