W hat follows is a classic Agatha Chris tie puzzle of m ixed motives, concealed identities, a determined inspector grimly following the twists and turns with M iss Marple providing the final solution. A Murder Is Announced is the first of six plays presented this season by the Oakville Dram a Series. The two dram a groups that produce the series (The Oakville Players and West End Studio Theatre) usually pres ent five plays per season but this year the February show contains two one-act plays. The Oakville Dram a Series offers sub scriptions so theatregoers can book all five show s (six plays) for a discounted price of $125. Evening perform ances are $30 and Sunday matinee is $25. Saturday's concert will be held at St. Jo h n 's United Church, 262 Randall St., in Oakville from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Sunday's concert will be held at St. Sim ons Anglican Church, 1450 Litchfield Rd., in Oakville from 3-5 p.m. The Oakville Chamber Orchestra has been entertaining audiences in Oakville, Burling ton and M ississauga since 1984, presented ensemble m usic featuring: favourite classics, contem porary m usic and rare gem s in inti mate settings.
