Rain or Shine Oakville Oakville Cockton, Margaret Lillian (née Noseda) November 6, 1928-September 6, 2017 Margaret passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She will be remembered as a kind, loving and compassionate person who is deeply missed by her family and friends. Margaret is survived by her three children; Jane (Attilio Bertolo), Bill (Kate Ed) and Beth, her three beloved grandchildren Matthew, Emma and Adam, and her brother Jack Noseda. She was predeceased by her dear husband of 50 years, Peter Cockton, and her sister Joan Sherrott. Margaret was born in Melbourne, Australia to James and Ivy Noseda. An adventurous spirit and a love for travel led her to embark on many solo trips, visiting such disparate places as Egypt, Europe, Haiti, Cuba, New York and Jamaica. She had a keen eye for photography and loved reading and gardening. A longtime member of the St. Dominic C.W.L., she was a woman of enduring faith and believed strongly in living that faith through service to others. A career in nursing would take her from Australia to England, where she became a district nurse, driving a tiny Mini van all over the Lake District. After marrying in 1966, Margaret and Peter immigrated to Canada where they settled in Yellowknife, yet another stamp in her passport. Edmonton and Oakville would follow. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Dominic Church in Oakville on September 16 at 10:30 a.m. followed by a reception. In lieu of flowers, donations to Development and Peace in Margaret's memory would be greatly appreciated. SEEBER, Sean William Nelson July 28, 1992 - September 9, 2017 It is with heavy hearts that the family of Sean William Nelson Seeber announce his tragic passing as a passenger in a single vehicle accident in the early morning of Saturday, September 9. Sean is survived by his parents, Scott and Tara Seeber, his uncle Kim Seeber, his uncle Richard Currie, his uncle and aunt, John and Denise Currie, his cousins Tara and Nelson Currie, and his girlfriend, Amanda Tanti, with whom he was so deeply in love. Sean was the only, and incredibly loved, child of Scott and Tara who will forever miss him. Sean was struck down in the best years of his life. An honours graduate of the Humber College Police Foundation Program, he was actively pursuing his dream to be a police officer with the Halton Regional Police Service. Consistent with his wish to improve the lives of others, Sean was employed as a mental health assistant at Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital. Sean was an incredibly vibrant, ambitious and compassionate young man, with a hunger for life. He possessed a smile and personality that would light up the room. Although only a young man, he had already grown a wide and caring circle of friends, all of whom will miss him dearly, who are providing support to Sean's family in this difficult time. Sean was a "big brother" and an active member of his community, volunteering his time and energy to many causes. There are no words sufficient to express the depth of our family's loss. There will be no formal service. In keeping with Sean's character, there will be a Celebration of Life to be scheduled at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations being made to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Canada. Honour the memory of a LOVED ONE... Place an In Memoriam in the classifieds.
