In August 1997, Sears launched its national Young Futures Computer Drive in support of Canada's Computers for Schools Program. We are encouraging all Canadians, all levels of govern ment, and all businesses to donate their older or surplus com puter equipment to C anada's Computers for Schools Program. We cele brated our "Black and White BaH" in Metamoiphic style at the downtown Holiday Inn. Over 100 people attended at $100 per plate affair, fitted out in their wonderful black and white evening attire. They were serenaded by Elizabeth Clarke, with her show "Love and All That S tu ff and were soon rocking and dancing to T h e Painted Horse" band. Our silent auction was terrific success and all in all, we raised just under $4000.00 for your MiKersum Project, a hefty thank you to all who attended and especially to our volunteers, who put in hours end hours of work to make this an astounding success. "To access such valuable resources, it is usually necessary to attend an expensive, m ulti-day program or retain the specialists directly." The sem inar w ill be divided into six intense, consecutive modules beginning at 8 a.m. with custom s and finishing at 12:15 p.m. with a U.S. trade update from the Canadian Consulate in Detroit.
