Approximately 150,000 people in Ontario will be di agnosed with a concussion, according to Ruth Wilcox, executive director of the On tario Brain Injury Association (OBIA). "Unfortunately, many concussions still go undiag nosed," Wilcox said. "That's why education is so very important." Wilcox made the com ments while speaking to a group of 100 health care pro fessionals earlier this year, when PHD ABIS officially launched its concussion ser vices to the community. Education is also the key to recovery, she said, adding, "I know it (education) will make a difference in those who have sustained a con cussion."
