The show goes from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Art in the Park features more than 175 artists and artisans from across the country, attracting thousands of people to the Bronte waterfront each year. Every medium of art is represented in the exhibition -- from traditional oil, acrylic and watercolour paintings, to glass, ceram ics, photography, mixed media, sculptures and fine jewellery. Visitors will get to meet the artists and learn about the works they have created. In 1965 the OAS created Art in the Park to promote local artists and artisans. Admission for Art in the Park is $5 for adults. Children under the age of 12 are ad mitted for free. Admission plays a crucial role in the life of the OAS -- by giving the organization an opportunity to subsidize programming and act as a venue for fur thering interest and knowledge of the world of art.
