Murron' s daily pearb o f wbdom now on sale in book form Fans of Murron's Cabinetree's `quote of the day' board, located outside the store entrance on Lakeshore Road East will take delight in knowing that its owner, Murray Famcombe, has put his sayings into a book titled `Murron's Board Wisdom.' What makes this story even better is that all proceeds from the book will be donated to United Way of Oakville. Sayings on the black board began almost two years ago when Murray and his two partners, wife Gaye Famcombe and former Argonaut Ron Southwick, relocated Murron's Cabinetree on Lakeshore Road East. Famcombe was surprised by the many com ments he received from passers-by who enjoyed reading the daily sayings so much that he decided to compile them into a book to sell at the store. It was Gaye who decided it was time to show the community their appreciation for its support of the business over the past seven years and have therefore decided to donate all proceeds from the sale of the book to United Way of Oakville. Children's charities are close to Murron's Cabinetree's heart and they chose United Way of Oakville because they feel that the organization "encompasses a few different charities". United Way of Oakville expects to receive $10,000 from the proceeds of the book which will be distributed to it's seven children's related pro grams and services. Murron's Board Wisdom is available for $10 at Murron's Cabinetree, 215 Lakeshore Road E. Murray anticipates a sell out with the impend ing Christmas rush.
