Saturday, December 25, 1999 THE OAKVILLE BEAVER B5 A C hilds Christmas My Favourite Christmas "It's Christmastime" I yelled as I jumped out of bed. I raced downstairs with a great big grin on my face as I looked under my tree with all the presents. This is the. best time of year I thought to myself. Then I ran back upstairs and jumped on my brothers bed and said to him "Jake, Jake wake up, it's Christmastime!" Jake is my 7 year old brother and I am 9-1/2 years old. My name is Chris and I like to play with Jake a lot. Both of our favourite holidays is Christmas. So Jake got out of bed like it was a school day, not even knowing it was Christmas. I guess I will just let him figure it out. We both went into our Mom and Dad's room but they were still sleeping. So I said to Jake, "Why don't we go eat some breakfast until they wake up?" After we finished eating breakfast, my Mom and Dad came down and said we could open up our pre sents. Then Jake finally remembered that it was Christmas. Here's what Santa brought me: a track suit, a new bike, and some lego. Jake got an action figure, a sweater and a big box of Knex. Then later on in the day, at about 11:45 our cousins came over and we all give each other some more presents. When we were finished, we all sat at the table and thanked ourselves for the great food and gifts that we have. Then we sat down to eat lunch. For lunch we had lasagna, salad, chicken, com, and pasta. I had a little bit of everything. When we were fin ished I played with my cousins for awhile until they had to go. When they left, I thanked my parents for the gifts and food. Then I went to play with my toys and I knew this was my favourite Christmas! Merry Christmas 1999. Grade 4 Favourite Christmas One day in December about two years ago, everyone that is related to me came over for Christmas, including my cousins Josh, N orbert and M ichelle. My two aunts and uncles, and my Grandma were also there. I got lots o f presents like a Nintendo 64 and one game, but later on in the year I got another one. I got so many clothes, and a lot o f Lego. I also was given a C ontroller Pack and a Rumble Pack for my Nintendo 64. The next day I went to buy another game. It was called "M ario 64."
