An exceptionally pretty wedding was solemnized Saturday, May 20, in St. John's Presbyterian Church, when Margaret, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Stevenson, was united in marriage to Roy Kirby Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Jones, North Vancouver. The Rev. J.P. McLeod officiated.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a simply made gown of heavy blush satin. Her only ornament was a necklace of pearls worn under the high collar. Her bonnet headdress of the same material held in place a fingertip veil of blush French net. For "something old", her bonnet was trimmed with the orange blossoms which had adorned her mother's wedding veil. She carried a bouquet of Rapture roses.

The bride's sister, Miss Isabel Stevenson, was maid of honour, and was gowned in aqua satin, made with double cape collar and long mittens to match. Her bonnet headdress of the same material had ribbons matching the ribbons on her bouquet of Better Times roses.

Mr. Ian Stevenson was groomsman, and the ushers were Mr. Melville Benson and Mr. Harold Oggy of Toronto. Mrs. Duncan McIntosh presided at the organ and accompanied Miss Isabel Stevenson when she sang "At Dawning".

The church was beautifully and appropriately decorated for the occasion with pink and white blossoms and baskets of tulips. Tall candelabra with lighted candles added to the beauty of the decorations. The guest pews were distinguished by white satin bows holding tiny sprays of sweet peas.

A reception followed at The Village Inn where the bride's mother received the guests, attired in a black and turquoise ensemble with corsage bouquet of orchids. Telegrams of good wishes were received by the newlyweds from Scotland, Peterboro and North Vancouver. Guests were present from Hamilton, Toronto, Palmerston, Kincardine and Grimsby.

The happy couple left on a wedding trip east, the bride wearing a leaf-green gabardine suit with matching accessories. They will return to Grimsby to spend a few days before leaving for the West Coast to take up residence in North Vancouver.
