"We came here with a defensive type of road game, to try and con tain and try and take our chances when they came," said Oakville coach Duncan Wilde. Unable to sit back, London did at tack in the second half, but the Blue Devils' defence allowed few chances as keeper Matt George recorded his second clean sheet in three games. The Blue Devils put the game away when Victor Gallo, playing his first game of the season, inter cepted a London pass, carried it just over half and lofted a long 40yard strike over the London keeper in the 87th minute. The Blue Devils' depth has shown this season. Nine goals have been scored by eight players. The Blue Devils also have reinforcements coming from the college ranks. "The work rate and the effort and the togetherness in the squad is growing week by week," Wilde said. "We're excited right now. This is a good start to the season."
