This partnership will create a new fundraising program that provides sup port to the Oakville Hos pital Foundation through ticket sales from the Will son Oakville Film Festival, which is produced each year by the OFFA. This unique pairing will also look toward creating future special film programs to run out of the John Oli ver Auditorium, and will endeavor to establish an on going mutually-beneficial re lationship. This year, the Willson Oakville Film Festival begins June 23, and presents three days of independent film making through exclusive screenings, special events and an immersive array of panel discussions. For those participants linked through the OHF's network, a special coupon code will be provided that grants a portion of all m em bership-level ticket fees into the foundation. In creating this strategy, the Willson Oakville Film Festival aims to broaden its audience involvement and strengthen their comm it ment to the Oakville com munity. "We are thrilled to be partnering with the OFFA on this unique opportunity that will not only raise funds for urgently needed medical equipment but also showcase Oakville's state-of-the-art hospital and Oakville's only independent film festival," said Tina Triano, CEO of the OHF, in a media release.
