Boyd scored 10 points in St. An drew' s 17-15 victory over St. Mar guerite in the Halton final. It gave St. Andrew a sweep of the two Halton titles up for grabs with the boys' team defeating St. Rapha el by one point. The two finals were held at St. Thomas Aquinas Secondary School. True to their nam e, the Aveng ers m ade up for a 22 -1 9 lo ss to St. Marguerite in the Oakville ch am pionship gam e a w eek ear lier, one of only tw o defeats St. A ndrew suffered in 19 gam es this season. During the regular season, the Avengers were 6-0. Andra Capannelli added five points to the Avengers' cause with Natalia Konopka collecting the other two points. Catannelli, Konopka and Boyd, all starters, are graduating this spring.
