The Munns Public School student is the No. 1-ranked under-12 male tennis player in the country. He justified the lofty ranking by winning the U12 Canadian championship in Calgary last month. Three years ago he won the U10 provin cial championship and the Future Stars U10 provincial title as well. At the Calgary nationals, Simeunovic, the No. 2 seed, defeated B.C.' s Ronik Sihota 6-2, 6-3 in the championship game for his first national title.
