Girl graduates hold the stage

at university commencements exercises.

==============================

Nature smiled on the graduation exercises at the University of Toronto yesterday when some 630 young men and women received their sheepskins after completing the course for the Bachelor of Arts degree. Highlights the occasion were the girls in their pretty white frocks wearing their mortar-boards gowns and carrying flowers galore. Upper row shows Miss Margaret Waugh and Miss Anna Cross on the left, Miss Isabel Dickson in the centre and a group of six on the right—Miss Elizabeth Locke, Miss Nancy Corbet, Miss Carol Hawley, Miss Nan Ord, Miss Margot Clarkson and Miss Rachel Buchan. Lower row shows, on the left, a glimpse of the procession of graduates on their way to Convocation Hall; in the centre, Miss Marion Bodwell, and on the right, Miss Enid Peacey and Miss Winnifred Jackson.
