In Gairloch Gardens, Ger man artist Cosima von Bonin will present W ho' s Exploiting W ho in the Deep Sea? which runs from now until May 28. This is von Bonin' s first ex hibition in Canada. Bringing together a selec tion of works made over the past 10 years, W ho' s Exploit ing Who in the Deep Sea? ex plores von Bonin' s ongoing fascination with the ocean, a theme that is commonly evoked in her works but rarely made explicit. Ranging from sculptures of creatures like crabs and sharks to a larger-than-life bikini, viewed here against the backdrop of Gairloch Gardens' lakeside setting, von Bonin' s cast of characters present a host of contradic tions, at once approachable and not quite what they seem.
