They have had lots of fun kicking the soccer ball through mud puddles, but their white uniforms have proven to be a poor colour choice for this kind of play. Brockvilie tournament winners * TV , _ £ , x The Oakville Little League 10-year-old all stars won the Bud Caldwell Memorial tournament in Brockville over the July 8/9th weekend. Burloak Canoe Club wins long running regatta Held on Toronto Island, the Dominion Day Regatta is the only one of its kind in North America with events in sprint canoeing and rowing alternating on the same course, and has operated continuously since 1884. The Burloak Canoe Club's mixed masters war canoe team won a gold medal over a distance of 500 metres at the long-running event. The Oakville-based Burloak Canoe Club has a bronze and two gold medals at the last three national club championships. It runs grass roots programs for all ages and abilities. Sports is for adults, too! Represented here, is the Burloak Canoe Club's mixed masters war canoe team which won gold at the illusstrious Dominion Day Regatta.
