Former Milton Merchant Richard Peverley proved to be a great signing at the midway point of the season as he collect ed four goals and an assist in his first game with the Coyotes. An outstanding effort was also turned in by Coyote goalie Joe Barber. Other notable contributions were turned in by Jamie Barlow (2g), Shane Labelle (lg, 3a), Dan Bognar (lg, 3a), Sean Stafford (2a), Sean Leathong (2a) and Brandon Cordua (2a). There will be a lot of Junior A action this weekend as the Oakville Coyotes host their regular Friday night home game (7:30 p.m. against Kitchener) and then on Saturday and Sunday host the third showcase tournament of the season. The third of four showcase tournaments being held by the league this year, they feature all 12 league teams in action, playing crossover games (east vs west).
