The idea behind this spe cial day is to make the world a better place by spreading a little light around. Although the group has volunteered extensively in the community, Harris says this is the first time they have organized a volunteer effort of this scale. Different activities are planned for each day of the month. Some of the examples of the work the company is doing include: donat ing and sorting food at the Kerr Street Mission' s (KSM) Food Bank; thank ing Oakville' s dedicated firefighters; showing a little love for our four-legged friends at the Oakville and Milton Humane Society (OMHS); and, giving a book to each Grade 2 student at Oakwood Public School.
