Resident faces drug charges Halton police seized a quantity of drugs as a result of an investigation by its Oakville Criminal Investigations Bureau - Street Crime Unit. According to a statement issued by police Friday (Jan. 27), the investigation resulted in the execution of a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a hom e on Dorval Drive. Am ong the items seized were: 20 grams of crack cocaine; 4 grams of heroin; 25 Oxyco done pills; 4 grams of marijuana; and approx imately $10,000 in Canadian money. Police estimated the street value of drugs at approximately $3,300. Facing charges of trafficking a controlled substance; three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking; possession of mari juana; assault with intent to resist arrest; and obstructing police is Briannique Ranger, 29, of Oakville.
