Correspondence was received from Dept. of Public Welfare advising of a new branch in the department amalgamating, Old Age Assistance, Blind Persons Allowance, and Disabled Per- sons Allowance and Mother’s Allowance; Report of North- . umber-land Health Unit; Work- men’s Compensation Board giv- ing detail of coverage; Dept. of Labour re, Trench Excava- tor’s Protection Act; County Clerk’s office advising that a Mr. August Karlison had been received at hospital as an indi-' gent patient; Hydro Electric with several new contracts ,which were approved; Perly’s Veriprint Service suggesting purchse of detail atlas; card of appreciatiOn from Mrs. E. A. Summers for letter of sympa- thy; card of appreciation from the Bothwell family for flowers at the time of Mrs. Bothwell’s death. i Mr. Jas.
