This infection among animals has been confined during recent months in some parts of On- tario to a greater extent than previously experienced. The most heavily infected areas in- clude Muskoka, Simcoe, Parry Sound and Prescott. To date sporadic infections have also been reported in Algoma, Carle- ton, Essex, Frontenac, Glen. garry, Lanark, Manitoulin, Nipissing, Northumberland, 0n- tario, Renfrew, Russell, Ster- mont. Victoria, York and Waterloo.
