The death occurred on Monday, Dec. 15, 1924, at the home of her niece, Mrs. Andrew Swayze, 3 John street, Grimsby, of Miss Margaret Lavery, formerly of Caistor, in her 77th year. Miss Lavery was born in Trafalgar Township, County of Halton, the daughter of James and Annie Lavery on Dec. 17, 1847, and came to Caistor Centre 65 years ago, where she had lived continuously up to 5 years ago when she came to Grimsby to live with her niece. She had been ill for about two months. Surviving is one brother, Patrick Lavery, of Caistor Centre. The funeral took place this morning, the Rev. Fr. R.S. Miller celebrating mass in St. Joseph's church, and interment taking place in Queen's Lawn Cemetery.
