CAMERA Y , ‘ The strawberry festival and sports, A BUSY 555510 which were carried on under the auspices of the Ladies’ Aid and Sunday school of ' the Methodist church, on the 1st July, were a grand success. The day was fine and the foreman was spent in preparation by the ladies in decorating Mrs. Bryant’s lawn in the form of a dining hall, and by the boys in laying cute base ball diamond. At 3 p.m. the base ball match was called, the contending clubs being Eden and Grass Hill, but it was nearly5 p.m. before the game really started, owing to the persistent kicking of the Grass Hill catcher, through gresn‘ glasses and seeing several balls at once. The game was Eden's from the start and Grass Bill will have to do considerable playing yet before talking about getting their revenge from Eden. The score was 7 to 28 in Eden‘s favor. and an innings.
