MP is busy in Ottawa and here at home continued from p.6 Over the summer, 9 7 students were em ployed across Oakville North-Burlington through the Canada Summer Jobs program and I was fortunate enough to visit m any of them at their job sites. This year, we also created the ONB Youth Council so the voices of our young people can be heard in our riding and Ottawa. In Ottawa, I began m y w ork as your MP by addressing Parliament. Over the past year, I have spoken 14 more times in the House to recognize accomplishm ents, concerns, events and citizens in m y riding. In ONB, I held 142 meetings with constit uents and attended or hosted 195 com m u nity events, including hosting Town Halls on electoral reform, the federal budget and climate change.
