www.insideHALTON.com | OAKVILLE BEAVER | Thursday, December 15, 2016 | 8 Town's 2017 budget maintains local services continued from p.5 and an added $52,500 to aid cultural programs and grants. Last week, the Budget Committee deferred to the 2018 budget, a request for funds to introduce flashing 40 km/h traffic-zone warning signals. This would allow for review of potentially new rules that could grant the limited use of photo radar in school zones before committing the funds. The committee also proposed re-allocating funds for council' s town-wide newsletter to ward-specific communications. m Pawit forward ig in y w gentlyusedleashard/®r coJlarandpurchaseanewleash and/orcollarandreceive2°%off andwewill donatey>ur »ld °neSt° hom elessdogs M r free l°cal h°me delivery askf°r details Award winning and Weekly walk,in $12 nail trims j °n m°st f°°ds aid Popular Raw T°oJ Brands A Secure and ea^ry wav t ° professional grooming Expert advice j 1500 Upper Middle Rd (at Third Line) and knowledge ^ 9 0 5 -8 4 7 -3 2 9 9 361 Cornwall Road (Whole Foods Plaza - behind Shoppers) 9 0 5 -8 1 5 -0 3 2 0 In addition to a property tax hike, Oakville Transit fares will rise as of Jan. 1, 2017.
