On Saturday (Dec. 3) at 12:52 a.m., a citizen called Halton Regional Police to report a vehicle had crashed into a lightpost on Fourth Line. Police say officers responded to the scene and its alleged the young female driver had a blood alcohol concentra tion of three times the legal limit. The youth, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, faces an impaired driving charge with a blood alcohol level greater than 80 mgs as well as mischief under $5,000.
