He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Frances Ann McLellan (nee Longfield), his three children, Laura (David), Michael (Catherine) and Leanne, his five grandchildren (Cassidy, Mitchell, Corey, Cameron and Cady), his two brothers William (and the late Peggy), Alfred (Susan) and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends. John worked at the Ford Motor Company for 40 years and enjoyed working at Glen Abbey Golf Club in his retirement. He was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis in June, 2015.
