With a 6:00 pm start time, the Leafs look to the ice and held their own. A last second goal by Joshua Canfield, assisted by Landon Stutt, put the Leafs ahead 1-0 at the end of the second period. Stutt's fought hard through the third to hold back Bowmanville team 116. But in the last minute of play, Bowmanville scored the tying goal. The whole team played hard and goaltender Theren Cruickshank was back in net, playing his usual incredible game. A game on January IS in Orono may have proved to be motivational. Two early goals by centre Tyler Rich put the Leafs ahead. However, musical positions positions came into play and Bowmanville team if3 took advantage of this, finishing off the game with a 9-2 victory over Orono. This was a lesson learned the hard way.
