With a 6:00 pm start time, the Leafs look to the ice and held their own. A last second goal by Joshua Canfield, assisted by Landon Stutt, put the Leafs ahead 1-0 at the end of the second period. Stutt's fought hard through the third to hold back Bowmanville team 116. But in the last minute of play, Bowmanville scored the tying goal. The whole team played hard and goaltender Theren Cruickshank was back in net, playing his usual incredible game. A game on January IS in Orono may have proved to be motivational. Two early goals by centre Tyler Rich put the Leafs ahead. However, musical positions positions came into play and Bowmanville team if3 took advantage of this, finishing off the game with a 9-2 victory over Orono. This was a lesson learned the hard way. A re-match is scheduled scheduled for Saturday, February 1 at 9:00 a.m. against Bowmanville team #6 (tie 1:1) and should be exciting! -DC wHÊmmm 'iiiii -- Girls' Night Out NEWCASTLE BOWL High Scores! 50+ Wed., January 22 Diane Tresslder 187 Janette McGIbbon 193 Joanne Bennett 159 165 Karen Wright 170 Katie Delore 162 Naloml Carey 175 Sonia Wygodansky 186 ÉüilüÉpiM. ; '".«iSltÉNI game for the Orono team is Friday, January 31 at 5:00 in Orono.
