Polymer had control of the game by notching a goal in the first period by Tyler Balson on a nice pass from Robert Herr, until early in the third when Innisfil was able to jump on a loose puck and score. On January 22, Orono won 4-2. Goal scorers for the home team were Brandon Lane, picking up a pair, with' singles scored by Theo DeVries and Brandon Mathwich. Assists were earned by Lane, Mathwich, Dustin Hinchey and Dean Englebert. When they met again on January 29, Orono ended up with a 4-1 victory. Scoring for the peewees were Daniel Stavrakos with a pair and singles singles by Cory Earners and Kyle Mathwich. Assists went to Brandon Lane, Will Kirby and Ryan Pratt. The goaltending by Robert Brousseau was outstanding outstanding in both games. On February 9, the I.G.A. Peewees had an exhibition game against the Orono Global Acoustic Peewees. The LG.A. On the 19th of February, Orono met the first place team in their league, OPG. The first period was a nail biter, as neither neither team could put one in the net. In the second, Orono'didn't Orono'didn't fair as well, as OPG notched two quick goals. Orono picked up their game but were unable to put one past their opponents. Halfway through the third, OPG scored their third. Again, Orono picked up their game and were rewarded with two goals. Alex Shkuratoff scored the first with assists by Steve Donadel and Brady O'Brian. The second goal was scored by Donadel, assisted by Shkuratoff, and Mitchell Harding. Goaltenders Bryce Cochrane, and Brock Dunham played outstanding, with terrific teamwork by Cary Konopka, Eric Logeman, Tyler Vanson, Scott Duquette, Kevin Jackson, Jesse Lambert, Nick Hutchinson, Joe Flamminio, Gardner Cole, and Bryan Engelbert.
