The team was made up of students from Grades 9 through 12. The girls competed against skaters from eight other high schools and brought home three medals. Orono dropped a 2-1 decision decision in the 'A' final of the tournament to a Wingham team. In this hard fought game, Orono deserved better. Tyson Robinson scored the lone goal for Orono, assisted by Jeremy Moore and Michael Richards. Orono went undefeated in the round robin portion of the tournament, shutting out Wasaga Beach 1-0 on a goal by Patrick McKay, assisted by William Kirby and Christopher Kuijpers. Ryan Brandt earned the shutout. Orono defeated Merriton 4- 0 on a pair of goals by Tyson Robinson and singles from Mitchell Jackson and Robert McKaÿ. Earning assists were Mitchell Jackson and Zachary Gibson with a pair each and singles from Tyson Robinson and Robert McKay. In the final round robin game, Orono downed Wingham 3-1 on goals by Patrick McKay, Tyson Robinson and Zachary Gibson. Assists were earned by Zachary Gibson, Robert McKay and Mitchell Jackson. The tournament was a round up for the year and the team fared extremely well in tournament tournament play. In seven tournaments tournaments they reached the 'A' final five times, winning three.
