Thelma Westlake had some planned surgery last.week at Peterborough Hospital, stayed at her daughter Joyce's in Millbrook, but is now home.. Our prayers are with her for a speedy recovery. Pat Gardner has had a mild stroke and is in hospital. Prayers on his behalf will be welcome. BINGO WINNERS Bingo runs at the Orange Hall every Tuesday evening at 7:00 for the fâll and winter. Everyone is MOST welcome.. On November 7 Carol Smale, Margaret Krissa, Iliona Riggers, Anne Zealand and Helen Couroux won one game. Two time winners were Dora MacDonald and Edith Hamilton. MEMORIAL SERVICE A Memorial Service for Dorothy Hellebust was held at Kendal United Church at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 18. A most delicious luncheon luncheon was served by the Kendal U.C.W. Andrew and Stephen, two of Dorothy's three sons sang as well as Andrew's wife Maria whose voice is like that of an angel. Johann, her husband husband displayed the oil painting painting of Dorothy with which she presented him on their wedding. wedding. He also told us of touching touching moments in their life, together. Stephen expressed his thoughts in a poem which he had composed in honour of his mother.
