This is being held in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Mr. Lowry, Head Coach, is very optimistic of his teams chances and assures us that they will make a good showing even against teams froth much larger schools across Canada. Run for Athletics - Thursday, September 21 The Fourth Annual Run-a-thon will be held from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. All students are encouraged to come out and help to raise money for the athletic department by being sponsored for the number of laps they can complete in one hour. Teachers and students alike will participate in this worthwhile event. Another good example of Clarke's great school spirit. Come on out and cheer us on! Music Notes The bands at Clarke High School are gearing up for another busy year. The Senior Band has successfully successfully auditioned for a North American competition in New Orleans next April 26 - 29, 1990. Music and athletic students are selling selling tickets to this event. Our football football field has been divided into 1000 squares approximately 2 metres by 3 metres. During period 4 (2:15 p.m.) these cows will be surrounded by fencing. In the course of the next hour or so, when nature calls, the cows will plop!
