She was in her 87th year. Born in the Bancroft area in 1900, she was the daughter of-Mr. and Mrs. Wm. E. Inwood. Following her marriage to Marshall Marshall W. Chatterton on March 22, 1922 they moved from the Bancroft area to a farm where they lived until ,the spring of 1959. Then they retired to the village, of Orono where she lived until her death. Mrs. Chatterton was a member of Orono United Church and the UCW. Mrs. Chatterton is survived by her son Orville and his wife Betty of Orono, a daughter Gwendolyn Taylor of Brampton and four grandchildren, Carol Sokoljuk of Cavan, David Chatterton of Orono, Nancy Taylor of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Bonnie Taylor of Brampton and one great grandson,. Christopher. She is also survived by five sisters and predeceased by five brothers and one sister. Funeral services were held on Friday, Friday, June 26, 1987 at Orono United Church followed by interment at Orono Cemetery. Reverend Fred Milnes officiated.
