The concert, which was sponsored by the powman- ville Rotary Club to raise funds for expansion of Bowmanÿille's Memorial Hospital and Oshawa's Sim- coe Hall centre, was cancelled for the second time due to an illness of Frank Sinatra, Rich's touring' partner. It was estimatéd by the sponsoring club that the concert concert could raise $4000 for the cause. Since Rich's agents could not invoke a cancellation cancellation clause, allowing performers performers to back out within a month without incident, they have donated $4200 toward the fund-raising. Clarke said he will try again to schedule a concert with Rich this coming April. Sports continued: Oldtimers best showing!
