Least bitterns migrate to the bayou's of Mississippi and Florida for the winter months, but otherwise seldom leave the marsh." Their survival depends totally on the preservation of these productive wildlife habitats. When we lose another marsh to industry, our agriculture or housing, we are losing too, part of the peculation of these unqiue and interesting birds.
