Involved in the accident were David H. Peirce, 35, of 32 Trailridge Cr., West Hill, Ontario, driving a 1974 Grem lin and southbound on Highway Highway 115, two and a half miles north of Enterprise Hill. Also involved was Michael Oven- den, 36 years of Oshhwa driving a 1976 Ford Torino Station Wagon and at the time of the accident northbound. Both veheiles collided head- on in approximately the centre of the roadway. A third veheile driven by Ronald Henwood of Peterborough Peterborough was following the Oven- den vehicle and struck it after the initial impact. Both Pierce and Ovenden were taken to Bowmanville Hospital' for treatment of fractures and lacerations. The two vechicles were a complete write-off with $1000. damage to the Henwood car. Charges are pending following following investigation by Constable Constable Ferguson of the Newcastle Newcastle O.P.P. detachment.
