He. gave support to the Authority movement and said it was one which should be preserved. Mr. Ed Haynes, chairman of the Education committee, chaired the meeting and called upon Mr. Stan Talesnick Talesnick who along with students ", from Seneca College will be making a study of the area , and at a later date presenting •a report to the Authority. The speaker stated he envisioned at Cold Springs an Outdoor Education Centre for school use, a public recreation centre for general and interest interest groups and a centre for conservation education which in importance could outreach all other uses. "I am not about to give you a recipe for the camp", he said, "this conies from thé needs of the area" and he warned ;of duplication. He also. said, "You have an unique environment environment here, a terrific resource, resource, close to urban areas, yet remote in its setting in the Ganaraska Forest".
