During his four years with the Eagles, Dormiedy was a member of two championship teams, turning the trick die first lime in 2003-04. Goaltender Rick Miller will be heading to Potsdam University to join fellow Eagle defenceman Steve Comclisscn. Miller was re-acquired in a deadline deal from the Jr. B team in Thorold. The third member of the group, Paul Michael Rivest, lias committed to Buffalo State University. One of the unsung heroes of the team, Rivest provided plenty of grit and toughness during die long playoff run. All three players have graduated from die junior ranks as 20-year-olds. Other players from last year's squad with opportunities south of the border include defenceman Phil Hotarek, a California resident who bolstered the blue-line of the Eagles. He already committed to play for the highly ranked Manhattanville Valiants next season. High scoring forward Scott Freeman will return for the 2006-07 season season after deciding to defer his scholarship to Clarkson University to the fall of 2007.
