He was a founding member of the Oshawa Ski Club, Oshawa Trailer Club, Ontario Airslream Club, and 420 Wing of the Canadian Air Force Association. His career at General Motors of Canada spanned 45 years and 3 months, retiring from the Merchandising Department in 1983. Upon retirement he became an active member of the Oshawa Got! Club. His outgoing personality personality and unique character made him many friends and he will be fondly remembered.
