The Municipality of Clarington Community Services Department has secured 17 Saturdays at the Manvers Manvers Arena beginning in October that will run through to the end of March. With ice time maxed out in Clarington, the need to find extra hours for this season was a priority. The availability of prime time ice in Manvers was "welcomed news at the time," he says. "They had interest in having us as a solid rental to fill the gaps instead of having to worry about renting on an hourly basis. It's a solid commitment for us." While there may be an adjustment period for parents parents travelling to Manvers on some occasions as opposed opposed to playing within the boundaries of Clarington, Clarington, the CRHL, for one, is appreciative to have the extra time.
