Our council is made up of accountants, lawyers, financial advisors, bankers, funeral directors, insurers and others who have brought together the expertise of our individual fields of business for the benefit of everyone in the community. You may already have your own professional advisors and that's good, but have you talked to them lately about things that reflect a change in your family situation? We feel there is no substitute for professional advice. Professionals can look at your particular situation, give you specific advice and direct you on the most efficient course of action. The cost range was 250 - $3.00. Some of the items were paper angels, puzzle wreaths, reindeer pins, tcezle mice, gift cards and much, much more. All of these items were hand-made by the craft club, led by Mrs. Bird and Mrs. Ranson. Also some of the crafts were made and donated by classes at Waverley. All of the proceeds proceeds are going to the local food bank. Over 200 attended a reception in her honor on Sunday to mark the launching of her compact disc. The disc sold out quite quickly, we understand. Sounds like they've got a hit on their hands! We also recognize that for many people, it is difficult difficult to find and work with qualified professionals they know little about. Part of this problem is that people people often don't know how to start, what to discuss, what questions to ask or even why they should gel involved. In an ideal world, everyone would spend some time organizing their financial (and other important) papers, they would have a will and they would discuss discuss with their exccutor(s) and family how their assets are to be distributed. In the real world, it doesn't always happen that way and some of the things a person intended will not happen because they did not take the time to make a will or put things in order. Sometimes this means increased taxes and more of your money going to the government. We have seen such things occur and arc quite sure that most of us don't want that to happen to our estate. With the support of the Statesman, members of the CEPC will regularly provide provide readers with some practical, real-life guides to Estate Planning including including tax liabilities and savings, savings, bequests, keeping your will up-to-date, the need for power of attorney documents, reasons for life insurance and gift planning, planning, as just a few examples. examples.
