On December 13, the Toros played a home game against Ajax. The boys came out flying and put the puck in the net 30 seconds after the opening faceoff. They went on to score three more times in the first period. Toro goals went to Ian Sinclair, Steve Marsh, and Adam Barraball (2). Assists Assists were credited to Jamie McCarthy, Jeff Ross (3), Bobby Graham Graham (2), and Adam Barraball. Major peewee Toros gaining strength as Christmas Classic draws closer. Ajax got on the board early in the second to make it 4-1, but the Toros found the net four more times before the period ended. Steve Marsh, Alan Robb, Adam Barraball and Ian Sinclair Sinclair were the Toros' marksmen, while Todd Bumstead, Richie Kearns, Blake Aylsworth, Ryan McKnight (2), Steve Marsh and Bobby Graham earned assists. Jeff Ross added the final Toro goal early in the third, assisted by Bobby Graham and Mike Harper. Ajax went on to score twice in the third, but Destinations Destinations To Go took home the convincing convincing 9-3 victory. Congratulations to Adam Barraball and Jeff Ross who both earned four points in this game. On December 17, Destinations To Go travelled to Richmond Hill. Once again, the boys showed they came to play hockey. Midway through the first, Blake Aylsworth took a pass from Alan Robb and beat the goaltender high on the glove side. Ten seconds later, Richie Richie Kearns found the top comer to make it 2-0. The Toros continued their strong play in the second and added to their lead when Ian Sinclair scored a short- handed goal while Destinations To Go were killing off a major penalty. Late in the period, Alan Robb found the net to give the Toros a four-goal lead. Blake Aylsworth earned the assist. Alan and Blake combined again, early in the third, and Richie Kearns made it 6-0 when he took a pass from Alan Robb and put the puck in the net. This line had a productive night with four points to Alan, three points to Blake, and two to Richie. Great work, guys. Richmond Hill got on the score- board twice in the second half of the third, but Destinations To Go went home with a 6-2 win.
