16 The Canadian Statesman, Bowmanville, Wednesday, December 21,1994 ^SϟonTwo^ Christmas Stories from Students at Central P.S. Christmas Eve On Christmas eve, Santa comes, to fill our stockings full of fun. He leaves toys, beneath our tree, a truck for you, a doll for me. When he leaves, he'll disappear, up the chimney, with no fear. Morning comes, we run downstairs, downstairs, dump out our stockings, trade our shares. Mom and Dad, come and see, all the joy, all the glee. Deanna Forrester Grade 6, Room 206 Central P.S. What Christmas Means to Me! Christmas, to me, means celebrating celebrating the birth of our saviour, and being being kind and considerate to the people people less fortunate than we. Some people don't have hot dinners waiting for them on their table for Christmas and every other day of the year. One way to remember them is by putting together a Christmas basket. I'm not telling you what to do - just give it some thought. I asked some people in my class what Christmas Christmas means to them. To Amber Ashton, Christmas means spending time with family and loved ones, and to have peace and love on earth. To Julie Curran, Christmas means time to spend with family and loved ones. To Krystal Barrett, Christmas means being with loved ones. To be caring, loving and sharing. To Emily Thomas, Christmas means a day to spend with loved ones. Merry Christmas to all! Courtney Cunningham, Grade 6, Mrs. Collins Central P.S. W - is for wonderful winter I - is for a fantastic igloo. N - is for a Christmas Noel. T - is for a Terrific Tree. E - is for tiny elves.
